About the role

  • Anticipate project issues, including advising the client on alternatives and providing recommendations for solving issues.

Responsibilities

  • What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors As a Municipal Engineer at OHM Advisors, you will bring your experience in engineering and design efforts for construction plan sets including specifications, maintaining team standards and procedures, checking design calculations, and conducting project QA/QC.
  • The successful candidate will also support the planning and funding processes by helping with the development of project scopes and budgets.
  • Your Responsibilities Prepare and manage scope, schedule, and budget for proposals and contracts.
  • Coach and Manage staff development, sub-consultants, and expenses during project implementation.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • 5 years' experience with maintenance of traffic design, traffic control and utility coordination.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
  • Experience with the MDOT ProjectWise and design criteria and manuals are preferred.

  • The desire and ability to train junior engineers and interns.
