About the role

  • UNIQLO Loss Prevention is responsible for maintaining a safe shopping environment for all customers and employees.
  • The Loss Prevention Agent plays a critical role in inventory management and shortage reduction.
  • Daily LP tasks at store are focused on safety, inventory management and shortage reduction.

Responsibilities

  • Build productive relationships with store leadership team and associates.
  • Lead associate awareness efforts and generate leads pertaining to internal investigations.
  • Partner with LP Manager to ensure compliance of company policy and procedure.
  • Support loss prevention management with audits and inventory counts.

Requirements

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, read computer terminals, push, pull or move objects of at least 50lbs.
  • Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local law
  • Knowledge of surveillance/security equipment and installations
  • Ability to travel to stores within assigned area
  • Must be able to work for extended periods of standing or walking the sales floor as required
  • including Security Software, CCTV equipment, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
  • Schedule Requirements:

Nice to have

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related preferred.

Compensation

  • $24.50 per hour
  • The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
