- About the Position Directs operational activities for national customer warehouse sites via partnerships with site general managers.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong relationship with customer key contacts through listening and understanding our customer's environment.
- Develop customer profile with business issues, opportunities, information flow, competitor environment, review process, contract, etc.
Requirements
- Prefer previous experience within an FMCG environment with specific knowledge of AIB/SQF/FDA regulations.
- Ability to communicate and articulate professionally, in both speech and writing.
- Understanding of and ability to control HR costs and growth.
- Ability to set policy and procedures.
- Prefer Lean Six Sigma and/or Supply Chain certification or training
- Understanding of supply chain strategies.
- Strong customer relationship skills
- ability to balance and manage customers' expectations while aligning with corporate goals.
- Strong problem-solving ability, planning/organization skills, and decision - making ability.
- Interpersonal influence skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proactive approach to employee relations issues.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree required
- M.B.A. preferred
- preference given to candidates with 10+ years' supply chain management expertise
