About the role

  • An Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing finished stock levels in trunk stock and at the third-party logistics provider, ensuring product availability, and assisting with customer inquiries.
  • This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Documentation: Generate inventory and account-related reports to support Account Service Representatives in customer interactions.
  • Logistics Provider Coordination: Work closely with the 3rd party logistics provider to monitor and optimize inventory distribution and logistics efficiency.
  • Quarterly Business Reviews: Support the facilitation of quarterly business reviews with 3rd party logistics provider, analyzing performance metrics, identifying improvement areas, and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in inventory management, supply chain, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in ERP (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365), Office Suite (incl.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (preferred).

Skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365), Office Suite (incl. Excel), and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and order processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in 3PL logistics coordination and performance reviews.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in KPI dashboard creation and performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools for KPI dashboard implementation.

Compensation

  • $70,000 - $75,000 USD
