About the role

The candidate for this position will have the responsibility for outlining a plan of care, providing therapeutic guidance, prescribing, and counseling.
The position also requires the ability to work collaboratively with administrative, nursing and disability management staff, as well as other medical providers.
An ability to successfully interface with a diverse population of Cast, management, and external medical providers is essential.

Demonstrated experience in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal disorders, laceration repair, dermatological conditions, and possible inhalation exposures
Demonstrated high degree of professionalism

Make recommendations for appropriate referrals when applicable using the policies established by Health Services and the Workers Compensation Department

Medically evaluate and treat occupationally related medical conditions, including ordering appropriate medication and work restrictions, with a focus on minimizing disability and early return to work

Develop knowledge of health promotion resources available to Cast Members, and counsel them in their use as medically indicated to support organizational goals related to Wellness
Document all activities in an Electronic Medical Record
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with an Electronic Medical Record
