  • Purpose and Scope of Position The General Ledger Accountant will assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
  • Compiles financial data to aid the Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, and more senior accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports as directed.
  • Organizational Relationship This position reports to the Corporate Controller.
  • Duties and Responsibilities This position may also help with other accounting responsibilities, including but not limited to: Engage in project-based accounting tasks to ensure accuracy of financial project management.
