About the role

  • Assistant Professor of Computer Science (tenure-track) for Muhlenberg College to work at our Allentown, PA loc.
  • Teach 3 computer science courses per semester, with a combination of introductory courses to upper-level electives.
  • Teach one or more introductory-level computer science courses (e.g., Introduction to Python/Computer Science, etc.), as well as courses in Software Engineering, Database, and any other electives aligned with the applicant's research field and interest.

Responsibilities

  • Start-up funds are available to incoming faculty for their research, and grants are available to support faculty scholarship during the summer.
  • Research with students is particularly valued, and funding is offered to support student summer research.

Requirements

  • Must have a Ph.D. (ABD) in Computer Science or related field.
