About the role

  • The Materials Associate is responsible for accurately processing all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining organized and clean work areas, verifying product quality, and ensuring proper documentation for every order.
  • This role requires attention to detail, safe material handling, and active communication with the production team to meet customer expectations and production schedules.
  • The Materials Team acts as the vital circulatory system of Base, ensuring that every high-tech component and finished battery unit moves flawlessly through our facility and into the hands of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate bills of lading and maintain organized shipping documentation.
  • Recycling: manage the recycling of materials as needed, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Deliver in-process materials or parts to production areas as needed.
  • Perform visual inspections of received items for accuracy and quality.

Nice to have

  • Participate in end-of-month inventory.
  • Assist in assembly or production processes when needed (training provided).
  • Participate in daily production meetings to share shipping/receiving updates.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 2+ years of shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or logistics preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs.
