About the role
- The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to provide technical leadership in machine design, process and operational efficiency for high speed aseptic filling and packaging technologies.
- The incumbent optimizes equipment layout, providing subject-matter-expertise for new product or process technology while ensuring cGMP compliant manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-going technical support for manufacturing operations after project installation.
- Drive technical advancement, solving problems and unique challenges.
- Contract specialty vendors, actively partnering with vendors to implement design specifications, install and or refurbish manufacturing and packaging technologies.
- Identify and implement shop-floor continuous improvement (CI) projects.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (OEE, CI, Lean implementation) across the manufacturing function
- Optimize equipment and process functionality
- Drives cGMP compliant equipment design, will alter existing design using AutoCAD™
- Implement control systems, PLC programming of highly automated manufacturing technologies

Compensation
- $60,966 - $85,694
- Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
