About the role
- At iRhythm Technologies, we seek a skilled Integration Engineer with strong programming and platform expertise to join our dynamic team.
- This role combines infrastructure management, system administration, and integration platform operations to ensure the reliability and scalability of our healthcare integration systems.
- Integration Platform Operations: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IRIS for Health integrations with customer EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts), ensuring optimal performance and reliability
Responsibilities
- Manage Linux-based servers, configure network security including PaloAlto VPN tunnels, perform system maintenance, implement security patches, and optimize system performance across development, staging, and production environments
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodeFresh/GitLab to automate deployment processes and ensure consistent, reliable releases
- Set up comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems; participate in rotating on-call schedule for critical production support

- Monitoring & Incident Response: Set up comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems; participate in rotating on-call schedule for critical production support
- Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve platform reliability and efficiency

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or 10 years of equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience in system administration, DevOps, or SRE roles
- Strong Linux/Unix administration skills with proficiency in command-line operations and shell scripting
- Hands-on experience with AWS services with ability to manage cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Cache ObjectScript, Bash, JavaScript) for automation and tooling
- CI/CD pipeline experience with CodeFresh, GitLab, or similar platforms
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform)
- Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in distributed systems
- AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer)
- Configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
