Responsibilities

  • Partner with an internal wholesaler to develop a business plan and manage the territory to meet and exceed regional sales goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners (e.g., marketing, senior leaders, field leaders).
  • Summary The External Wholesaler, along with their internal team member, will support and grow Potomac's tactical investment strategies and mutual fund business with financial advisors in the Independent Broker Dealer and RIA channel.

Requirements

  • Must have: SIE, Series 7, and either 63 & 65 or 66.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an external wholesaler selling mutual funds, SMAs ETFs or VAs, or 3 years of experience as top internal wholesaler with existing relationships in the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful and dynamic sales presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Who You Are A driven and detail-oriented wholesaler, with a hunter mentality who has a deep understanding of the markets, products and broker dealer landscape and has a passion for sales.

  • Stay current with industry trends and developments, to ensure that Potomac stays head of the curve.
  • Comply with legal and compliance regulations at all times.
