About the role
- Xos is seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our Warehouse team.
- This is an exciting opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of the warehouse operations by ensuring the efficient movement and handling of materials within our facility.
- To be a successful Material Handler at Xos, you should be able to receive, inspect and record shipments with raw material or products.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a shipping and receiving clerk or a similar position.
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data.
- Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, lift, carry
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Basic math and recording abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Available to work full-time hours, Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Nice to have
- Experience in operating forklifts - Forklift certification a plus.
