Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-inspections on all fleet equipment to ensure safety and road readiness
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and trailers, with a focus on end-dump equipment
  • Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks (MIG welding preferred)
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records in a timely manner
  • Collaborate closely with the Transportation team to ensure fleet reliability and operational efficiency

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in trailer repair and maintenance strongly preferred
  • MIG welding experience required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of DOT standards and preventive maintenance practices

Compensation

  • Salary starts from $30/hr to $44/hr (based of experience)
