Requirements
- 6 years of experience with a HS diploma, 2 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 0 year of experience with a master's degree.
- Must have developed organizational skills and the ability to handle multi-tasking.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree from accredited institution.
- Experience with ERP system, specifically SAP desired.
- Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
- MES Program Experience.
- Experience working knowledge in production planning process.
- Working knowledge with Total Quality Management and/or, Procurement, and/or Supplier Quality Assurance.
- Level 3 Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist
- 9 years of experience with a HS diploma, 5 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with a master's degree.
Skills
- Defines and develops material strategy.
- Responsible for the assessment of supply chain resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements.
- Lead affordability, cost savings, and/or process improvement strategies.
- Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
- Monitors inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
- Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
- Interfaces with Source process area regarding inventory levels, working capital and other areas as needed.
- Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard parts.
- Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
- Prioritize and communicate impacts of current and potential material shortages.
Compensation
- $75,800.00 - $113,800.00
- $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
- Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
- The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
