About the role
- The Transport Scheduler serves as a key liaison between customers, carriers, terminals, and internal stakeholders, providing delivery status updates, resolving operational issues, and responding to supply disruptions and incidents.
Responsibilities
- Oversees delivery schedules to ensure deliveries are executed timely and that sites maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Optimizes routes and creates delivery schedules that produce the safest, most efficient and cost-effective logistical solutions.
- Manages the delivery process to ensure that deliveries are made in accordance with Fuel Transportation Agreements and the customer's delivery requirements.
- Performs analyses to ensure products are being sourced properly and that contracts obligations are being fulfilled.
- Through continuous monitoring and coordination, the Transport Scheduler helps maintain product availability, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service across around-the-clock operations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 0-1 years of related experience
- 1-2 years of related experience
- 2+ years of related experience
- Minimum 1 years of internal Transport Scheduling experience needed to apply
