About the role
- Operate, monitor, and adjust extrusion machinery
- Clean out machine and associated components, clean tooling
- Operate fork truck, powered moving equipment, and change propane cylinders
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in cable or wire manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with production line management and quality assurance standards.
- Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness to handle heavy equipment and the ability to stand for extended periods.
