About the role

Guggenheim is seeking an experienced, motivated Securitized Products Trader to join our Fixed Income Desk.
Reporting directly to the Head of Fixed Income Trading, the candidate will be responsible for trading on behalf of customers and enhancing our presence in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

This position requires strong collaboration with our salesforce to facilitate customer requests, market the product and the sector, provide liquidity, and manage risk.

Requirements

This role is for a trader that has an existing book of business and ability to start generating revenue upon joining Guggenheim.
Must have ability to begin generating revenue upon joining Guggenheim's trading business
Proven ability to assess risk and liquidity

Ability to spot arising opportunities and assertiveness to seize them
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituents
easily adaptable to changing situations
Fast decision making skills, mental discipline and ability to solve problems under pressure
Demonstrated ability to use good judgment
C urrently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days per week
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting preferred

Skills

Quantitative and analytic skills including advanced use of Excel and VBA Macros

Compensation

Annual base salary of $175,000 - $190,000.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
