About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement and track corrections through proof cycles.
  • Perform quality control checks on layouts and production files.
  • Collaborate with editors and designers to resolve production issues.
  • Provide print production support for Kids and Little Kids publications, ensuring pages are accurate, complete, and production-ready.
  • Partner with Editorial and Design teams to manage assets, corrections, proofing, and final release activities.
  • Advanced coursework, certification, or specialized training in publishing, print production, graphic design, or related disciplines

Requirements

  • 3+ years of print production, publishing, or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of print production, proofing, and prepress workflows.
  • Experience coordinating artwork, illustrations, and complex page assets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Publishing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation

  • The hiring range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $79,400 to $106,400 per year.
