About the role

- The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for understanding customer business environments, actively identifying potential roadblocks, and providing thoughtful solutions that leverage PagerDuty's products.
- As a Solutions Consultant at PagerDuty, you'll sit at the nexus between pre-sales, sales, and customer experience and success.
Responsibilities
- Design integrations to provide seamless implementation with the customer's current technology stack
- Support sales cycles by handling technical questions in RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires
- Partner with sales, product, and cross-functional teams with a focus on growth and exceptional customer service
- Manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively using project management and account management skills
- The PagerDuty Operations Cloud is an AI-powered platform that empowers business resilience and drives operational efficiency for enterprises.
Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical field
- Ability to do basic scripting (Java, PHP, Ruby, Perl) and a fundamental knowledge of Linux
- Experience selling SaaS in a fierce environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of IT monitoring tools or IT Operations
- Ability to travel to customer sites as necessary
Nice to have
- Understanding of monitoring systems such as New Relic, Nagios, Zenoss, Splunk, ServiceNow, and Zabbix
- Familiarity and knowledge of PagerDuty's space, or already being a fan of our product
- Experience in both enterprise and commercial sales
