Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regulatory and legal strategy to deepen Stedi's relationships with payers, navigating enforcement, compliance requirements, and relationship dynamics with organizations that control access to the market.
- Lead competitive and enforcement matters, defending and advancing Stedi's interests, where legal strategy directly determines market outcomes.
- Build the legal framework for novel data products that operate in complex regulatory areas, turning uncertainty into defensible product strategy.
- Partner directly with the CEO and board on strategic decisions where legal and regulatory considerations shape the business direction.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience between law firms and fast-paced in-house roles.
- You think like a business leader who wields legal expertise in furtherance of company strategy, not like a lawyer who occasionally considers business implications.
Nice to have
- We'll also consider deep experience in another heavily regulated, high-complexity industry (e.g., financial services, payments, insurance).
