About the role
- You will review construction and remodeling projects and contracted mechanical work for code compliance and compatibility with existing mechanical and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- maintain replacement schedules and capital equipment records.
- Coordinate infrastructure parts, materials, and supplies within budgetary constraints; maintain replacement schedules and capital equipment records.
- Maintain records to ensure compliance with all applicable Authorities Having Jurisdiction, including local, state, and federal regulatory codes.
- Perform all duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and professional standards.
Requirements
- Working knowledge and certification as required under applicable regulatory codes and state and local building codes.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
- Ability to work safely and effectively with infrastructure and utility equipment.
- Universal Refrigerant Handling Certification may be required.
- Proficiency in common office software programs.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on department needs.
- keep the designated Facilities Services Manager informed of infrastructure needs or required changes to maintain safe and reliable operations.
- Monitor and modify preventive maintenance programs to ensure maximum effectiveness and provide all required documentation.
- Attend required code compliance and regulatory update trainings.
- May oversee the work of staff and/or vendors as required.

- Previous construction experience preferred.
