About the role
- We are seeking an experienced IT Operations & Support Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to support and enhance our IT environment within a fast-paced AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) consulting firm.
- This role blends Tier 2 end-user support with systems, cloud, and infrastructure responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both solving immediate problems and contributing to long-term operational improvements.
- You will work closely with internal teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations that support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 helpdesk support and escalation assistance
- Support engineers and staff in a high-demand consulting environment
- Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and file services
- Maintain documentation and ticketing records
- 3-5 years of professional IT support or systems administration experience

Requirements
- Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
Nice to have
- Experience supporting end users in a professional services or AEC environment preferred

- Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
- Assist with Hyper-V virtualized environments
- Troubleshoot networking issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN)
- Assist with Azure administration and cloud services
- Participate in after-hours maintenance as needed
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V preferred)
- Understanding of basic networking concepts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
