Responsibilities
- The Dry Market, Assistant General Manager, leads operations in the Retail Dry Market departments to meet company goals and standards in terms of sales and service.
- The Manager oversees labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures to drive success.
- Collaborates with the Marketing and Facilities departments on store layout and product placement
- Assists the GM in analyzing financial data and developing strategies to enhance efficiency and drive sales
- Maintains a visible presence on the floor, participating in and exemplifying exceptional guest service
- Documents, investigates, and resolves employee and guest incidents
Nice to have
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1+ year of retail management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Solid analytical skills
- Experience with cash management, purchasing and managing inventory
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and spend up to 8 hours walking or standing in a retail environment
