About the role
- The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of an aggregate production facility and may oversee complex and/or multi-site operations.
- This role directs all aspects of quarry and plant operations, including safety, environmental compliance, production, maintenance, quality control, financial performance, mining activities, inventory management, and team member development.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance programs.
- Develop and execute mining, stripping, reclamation, and pit development plans.
- Manage production schedules, inventory, budgets, and plant profitability.
- Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and team members.
- Forty-team members perform at a high level to produce up to 2,000 tph of high-quality aggregates.

Nice to have
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
Compensation
- St Cloud Quarry is a 2M+ tons per year, seasonal granite operation located in Central MN.
- Truck and rail loadout can reach 20,000 tons per day.
- The hiring range for this position is $115,000 -$170,000 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary).
- The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience.
- Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members.
- The hiring range for this role represents the base compensation we expect to pay for the position at time of hire and does not represent the total possible base pay of the position.
