  • Our challenge Synechron is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to define target-state architecture, reusable architecture patterns and migration roadmaps for a complex financial-services data environment.

Responsibilities

  • Our global consulting firm combines creativity and innovative technology to deliver industry-leading digital solutions.
  • Through research and development initiatives in our FinLabs we develop solutions for modernization, from Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain to Data Science models, Digital Underwriting, mobile-first applications and more.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in data architecture, 5+ at enterprise or principal level in financial services.
  • Candidates must be able to describe a specific domain decomposition they authored, the contested boundaries within it, and how the platform-versus-domain responsibility split was enforced.
  • Must be able to reason about equivalents on AWS (Lake Formation, Glue Data Catalog, Amazon DataZone) when comparing options for Mizuho.
  • Experience with automated code-intelligence accelerators for SQL/SAS estate analysis.

  • The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.
  • In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $130k - $145k/year & benefits (see below).
