About the role
- This position requires in person attendance at our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
- This role is responsible for cash management, accounts payable/receivable processes, fixed asset reporting, and monthly financial close activities.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and comfortable managing a wide range of accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cash balances, initiate transfers, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Manage biweekly payroll, including reconciliations and 401(k) contributions.
- Maintain fixed assets, including additions and depreciation.
- Prepare account reconciliations, analyses, and support month-end close.
- Maintain vendor records and support audit requests.
- Perform general bookkeeping and identify process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals and account reconciliations.
- Experience with payroll processing and general ledger systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
- Ability to balance independent work with team collaboration.
- Experience working with third-party payroll providers.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000.
