About the role

Responsibilities

  • Leads the overall payload design effort
  • Leads the execution of integration and test for an assigned satellite in accordance with customer requirements, business objectives, and Boeing processes.
  • Leads project execution to complete the work statement, identify performance metrics.
  • Develops and maintains detailed Satellite System integration and test plans.
  • Collaborates and consults with cross-functional technical teams on spacecraft development Design For Manufacture And Test (DFMAT) and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with space, launch vehicles, satellite programs, or other complex systems
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, and/or production system developments
  • 1+ years of experience in leading multi-skilled teams
  • Plans and coordinates resources required over the life of the project.
  • To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of experience in systems or subsystem integrated product team lead
  • 3+ years of experience with cross-functional team leadership

  • The selected candidate will report to the Program Manager and will be responsible for managing the design, procurement, and integration and test of hardware, resource planning, procurement deliveries, execution to schedule, and overall assembly, integration, and test (AI&T) of a commercial program payload.
