About the role
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, exceptional teaching skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Works closely with departmental managers and directors in the assistance of staff and patient needs while performing as an integral role in department operations, including but not limited to-assigning work and real time coaching.
Responsibilities

- Perform or assist with departmental operational duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree (AA) Associate Degree in Nursing Required
- Effective ability to have crucial conversations/coaching of staff
- Registered Nurse Iowa Board of Nursing (IBON) (United States of America) Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support & First Aid - American Heart Association Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association Required
- Board Certified in nursing education, professional nursing development, or acute care Preferred
- 1-3 years 2-5 years of experience in providing patient education Preferred
- 1-3 years experience as preceptor and mentor for nursing staff. Preferred
- Prefer proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication.

- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- 1-3 years 2-5 years of experience in area of specialty department Preferred
- 1-3 years experience as preceptor and mentor for nursing staff.
