About the role
- The Senior Product Manager at Assent is a leader and end to end owner of product success, accountable for identifying high-impact opportunities, making sound investment decisions, and ensuring meaningful value is realized for both customers and the business.
- This role requires a balanced strong commercial judgment, deep customer insights, cross-functional leadership and the ability to synthesize insights from data and the market into clear execution plans..
- Assent operates in a uniquely complex and meaningful domain at the intersection of global supply chains, product compliance, sustainability, and data.
Responsibilities
- Develop concise product requirements documentation (PRDs) that also include user workflows and data constriants.
- Partner closely with fellow Product Leaders to manage dependencies, sequence releases, and ensure a cohesive user experience across the entire Assent portfolio.
- Develop a deep, technical understanding of Assent's complex data environment including supply chain intelligence, regulatory content, and customer-generated signals to unlock new product value.
- Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and Design to architect "intelligent" features that balance technical rigor with transparency and world-class usability.
- Orchestrate the discovery process with Design and Engineering to ensure every solution is not only technically feasible but also highly desirable and commercially viable.
- Partner with Product Owners to translate high-level strategy into well-structured epics and stories.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales to define value-based pricing, sharp positioning, and high-impact launch strategies that drive rapid market adoption.
- We use AI to support parts of our recruitment process, such as note-taking and initial shortlisting based on job-related qualifications.
Requirements
- It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications
- You can navigate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Marketing) and contribute to the collective success of the broader Product Org.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Pragmatic Marketing certification or an MBA is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing, or regulated industries (e.g., ESG, compliance).
- Experience with complex data structures like BOMs, mapping, and ERP/API integrations is a significant advantage.
- Domain Expertise (Plus): Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing, or regulated industries (e.g., ESG, compliance).
