Requirements
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a successful drivers abstract required for field positions
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic
- 2 years experience on gas engines and compressors
- 2 years experience operating a service truck
- Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills
- Must be able and willing to travel to and from customer sites across our territory
- Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication

- Job Description:
- As a Gas Compression Tech, you'll put your skills into action by partnering directly with customers to keep their operations running at peak performance.
- You'll troubleshoot and oversee repairs on a wide range of Caterpillar gas and diesel engines-both in the shop and out in the field-leveraging your technical knowledge to build trust, solve challenges, and deliver the reliability our customers depend on.
- Your work will include:
- Field diagnosis and running repairs
- Large‑scale overhauls and rebuilds
- Component replacements
- Qualifications
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification (Millwright and Automotive also accepted)
- Previous CAT general line experience including troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of CAT engine and powertrain components
