About the role

- You will take ownership of Adyen's disputes, advising internal stakeholders on legal risk and guiding matters towards resolution.
- This is a hands-on role that is important to protect Adyen's commercial interests, reputation, and continued sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage disputes across multiple jurisdictions, applying and coordinating advice under New York, Dutch, and other relevant laws as Adyen's operations require.
- Instruct, oversee, and manage external counsel, keeping matters on strategy, on budget, and moving towards resolution.
- Partner with teams across the business to resolve disputes and remove friction before it escalates.
- Support the broader Corporate Legal team on projects and initiatives spanning corporate governance, corporate development, and cross-functional priorities.
Requirements
- You are admitted to practice law in a US jurisdiction.
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- You are available to work from our New York office and travel to other offices periodically.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Compensation
- The annual base salary range for this role is $160,000.00 - $212,500.00 This role has an additional equity component.
