Specifically, the college is seeking an instructor to teach FADE 1025: Fashion Imaging and FADE 2115: Product Development and Manufacturing.
Those teaching more than five credits are temporary part-time employees and can move to the faculty salary schedule.

Associate degree in apparel design, fashion design, clothing design, or textiles and clothing
The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Experience in Adobe Software: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat.
Demonstrated ability to educate adult learners, multi-lingual learners, students with disabilities, and international students.
Previous work experience in a post-secondary institution
Current and former employees must be in good standing with Minneapolis College to be considered for the position.

Compensation for under 5 credits is $1,650 per semester credit. Those teaching more than five credits are temporary part-time employees and can move to the faculty salary schedule.
Salary schedule placement is determined on the basis of education and experience and in accordance with the 2025-2027 Master Agreement between the Minnesota State Board of Trustees and the Minnesota State College Faculty.
