About the role
- We have a top-tier portfolio of businesses, including Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) and Cubic Defense (CD).
- This position typically works independently with results reviewed under general supervision and direction.
- Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Perform system-level testing activities for a project team in accordance with contractual requirements, MIL-STDs (military standards) and Data Item Descriptions (DID).
Requirements
- Experience must be directly related to the planning and performance of system level testing.
- Experience must include performing test activities without requiring direct supervision.
- Experience with configuration and test of IP based networks is required.
- Must have strong presentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to keep detailed records of work in a database or spreadsheet.
- Must have an active DOD security clearance.
- Generate required test plans, detailed procedures, and reports collaborating with functional engineering disciplines
- Plan, prepare for, and conduct Test Readiness Reviews (as required) to report system readiness for test
Nice to have
- Four-year college degree in an Engineering or Scientific Discipline plus eight years related experience, or an applicable Master's degree with six years related experience.
- DOD and communications-related systems test experience preferred.
- AS9100, SEI CMMI, and/or Lean/Agile development knowledge and experience preferred.
- Experience with RF testing is a plus.
Compensation
- $133,000.00 - $163,000.00 + benefits.
- The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
