About the role

  • Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is seeking a highly motivated Bridge Engineer, with 5-10 years experience to join our structures group.
  • Our structures team works on exciting and collaborative projects across the Midwest and Rocky Mountain region.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define project goals and deliverables, ensuring strong communication throughout the design process.
  • Serve as a client liaison, attending meetings, presenting solutions, and building relationships with stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CDOT, NDOT, SDDOT, or IADOT formats preferred.
  • Work closely with transportation, environmental, and planning teams on multi-disciplinary projects to integrate structural solutions into broader project contexts.
  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is preferred.
  • 5-10 years of previous Bridge & Structures Engineering experience.
  • Must have working knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
  • Proficiency in applicable bridge design software and structural analysis techniques is required.
  • Must have familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD and other applicable software common to the field of structural and civil engineering.
  • Project Management experience and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members is highly valued.
