About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in our Denver, CO office.
This role reports directly to the Director of Accounting Operations and will be responsible for performing and coordinating core accounting functions across the organization.
The role requires a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable working with minimal day-to-day supervision.

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries and account reconciliations.
Perform monthly variance analysis and explain results and financial fluctuations.
Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization policies, roll-forwards, and reconciliations.
Perform bank reconciliations and manage daily cash activity, including deposits, wires, and transfers.
Maintain accounting for prepaids, other assets, and intangible assets.
Prepare schedules, workpapers, and provide support for external audits.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial information and support business stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Employees may perform other related duties to meet the organization's ongoing needs.

Required Traits, Expertise, and
Required Traits, Expertise, and Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including data management and complex spreadsheet functions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
Minimum 4+ years of accounting experience.
CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.
Experience with NetSuite ERP strongly preferred.
Experience in property accounting, partnership accounting, or REIT tax rules a plus.
Experience with multi-currency, multi-entity, and intercompany transactions preferred.
This position will follow a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three (3) in-office days per week.

$90-$110K plus annual bonus.
