- Administer prescription medications under nurse supervision according to Ohio law.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all medication administration, including refusals or adverse reactions.
- Maintain professional boundaries and treat all residents with dignity, courtesy, and respect.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident information.
- Maintains open communication with manager and/or peers to promote awareness of resident issues.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
- 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Completion of an Ohio Board-approved Medication Aide Training Program Successful completion of CMA application and examination Current certification as a CMA in Ohio Ability to communicate effectively, read medication labels, and perform basic medication administration and documentation.

- Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents as requests and needs change.
