About the role
- Stimulate and nurture scholarly activity within the Division and strengthen current research portfolio.
- Expand clinical service program to meet regional needs.
- Sustain an existing supportive and collaborative environment for other subspecialists thus facilitating programs that care for high complexity patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership to support the faculty in the Division of Ophthalmology to achieve excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
- Support quality improvement efforts and safety initiatives within the Division and Children's Hospital of Illinois.
- Collaborate with other ancillary services to provide high quality, safe, and individualized patient, and family centered care.
- Perform duties of a university faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and administration Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
