About the role
- The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for creating pipeline for the Account Executives by identifying and engaging with construction companies that could benefit from Premier.
- This is a front-line role focused on high-quality conversations with owners, finance leaders, and operations leaders in construction.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, accurate records of activities, contacts, and opportunities in the CRM and sales engagement tools.
- Support trade show and event efforts: pre-book meetings, work the floor, and execute disciplined post-event follow-up.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on messaging, sequences, and campaigns that resonate with construction finance and operations personas.
- Ability to work remotely across North American time zones and collaborate effectively via tools like Teams and email.
Requirements
- Required Skills & Experience
Nice to have
- Experience selling to construction, real estate development, or related industries.
- Prior exposure to ERP, accounting, or project management software.
- Experience prospecting into mid-market and enterprise accounts across North America.
- Familiarity with data and research tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and intent/data enrichment platforms.
- Experience working in a high-growth SaaS environment with defined SDR/BDR processes.
- Willingness to travel for industry conferences and team events.
