  • Working alongside a team of dedicated laboratory professionals, you'll help ensure accurate, timely test results while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine testing of biological specimens in the HLA laboratory following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform donor and patient testing while ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Maintain complete, accurate laboratory records while protecting donor, patient, and employee confidentiality.
  • Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and quality control of laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
  • Collaborate with laboratory team members to support operational excellence and exceptional customer service.
  • Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements, including CLIA, CAP, FDA, AABB, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • As a Clinical Laboratory Technician in our HLA Laboratory, you'll perform high-quality laboratory testing on biological specimens that supports organ, tissue, and stem cell transplantation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to perform laboratory procedures accurately and consistently.

Requirements

  • State laboratory license, when required by applicable regulations.
  • No prior professional laboratory experience required.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with laboratory information systems.

Nice to have

  • Coursework or internship in clinical laboratory science or immunology is preferred.
  • Experience working in a clinical, molecular diagnostics, immunology, transplant, or histocompatibility laboratory is a plus.
