About the role

  • We are looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented, highly organized, and versatile individual to join our Advancement team.
  • The Advancement Coordinator reports to the Director of Advancement and works collaboratively with all ONFE staff.
  • Most work takes place during business hours

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Advancement team to develop comprehensive fundraising plans and strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with donors and funding partners, while seeking new revenue opportunities.
  • Implement donor recognition and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with event vendors, volunteers, and internal teams to ensure smooth event logistics, promotion, and participant satisfaction.
  • Manage donor and fundraising records within customer relationship management system and fundraising platforms.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports and insights on fundraising activities.
  • The Advancement Coordinator works with the Advancement team to develop, expand, and implement fundraising strategies for ONFE.
  • Most work takes place during business hours; however, you should be willing to manage and flex time to work evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline.
  • 2-3 years of event management experience, preferably in fundraising.
  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in fundraising and/or marketing.
  • Experience using donor management software.
  • Other Requirements/Pre-requisites
  • Satisfactory Police Record Check in alignment with ONFE's Conditions of Employment Policy.
  • Driver's license, and access to a reliable motor vehicle with insurance coverage that has no policy restrictions for work related driving.
  • Fluency in English and French (oral and written) is considered a strong asset.
