Responsibilities

  • Techno Consult Engineering, PC is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to support construction of a major $800M+ waterfront infrastructure project in New York City.
  • Partner with the Owner, Engineer of Record, contractors, utilities, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and coordinate with owners, engineers, contractors, utilities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
  • We deliver impactful water/wastewater, transportation, and public works projects for clients including NYCDDC, NYCDEP, and the Port Authority of NY & NJ.
  • With offices in New York City, Princeton, Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, we combine technical expertise, a commitment to quality, and strong client partnerships to deliver innovative solutions and build resilient communities.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with marine, waterfront, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil construction, including foundations, piling, concrete structures, shoreline improvements, and utility relocations.
  • Experience with NYCEDC, NYC Parks, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NYSDOT, MTA, Port Authority, or similar agencies

Compensation

  • The anticipated compensation range for this position is $80-$100/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
