About the role
- Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Medical Oncology Department, including quality, safety, operations, staff, budgets, and experience.
- Ensures smooth patient flow throughout the day by coordinating the Medical Oncology department schedules and working closely with the supervisors of Radiation Oncology, and Cancer Programs & Clinical Research.
Requirements
- Current state registered nurse license required
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.
- Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.
Nice to have
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing preferred
- Current BLS certification preferred
- At least two (2) years of experience in management or supervisor preferred
