Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement underwriting standards and best practices to maintain portfolio profitability.
  • Manage a portfolio of casualty reinsurance treaties, ensuring alignment with profitability and growth objectives.
  • Assess and manage treaty-related risks, developing and executing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • As a Senior Casualty Treaty Reinsurance Underwriter you will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, including cedents, brokers, and actuarial teams, to develop tailored reinsurance solutions.

Requirements

  • Recruiting Vendors must have a valid written agreement and receive prior written authorization from an authorized Brown & Brown representative before submitting candidates for any publicly posted role.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, actuarial science, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Extensive experience (15+ years preferred) in casualty and workers' compensation reinsurance underwriting.

Compensation

  • $200,000 - $300,000 Annual
  • The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
  • The expected annual pay range for this position is between $ 200,000 to $300,000 plus discretionary bonus.
