About the role

This role requires a highly experienced architectural professional with a strong client-facing presence and deep understanding of project delivery from concept through construction.
This position demands exceptional communication skills-for coordination with clients, internal teams, consultants, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).

Experience engaging directly with clients to identify and interpret program requirements, develop design criteria, and lead teams through fast-paced project delivery environments.

Lead client-facing engagements to interpret program requirements, identify goals and objectives, and develop design strategies aligned with project scopes.
Coordinate and oversee all phases of design and documentation, including proposals, design criteria manuals, and construction documents.
Implement current building and construction technologies into clear, concise, and comprehensive construction documents.
Manage the Construction Administration (CA) process, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, conducting site visits and punch walks, and producing site visit reports.
Uphold and advance firm design standards across all project deliverables.
Collaborate in the development of template documents and design criteria to support consistent quality across projects.

Professional degree in Architecture required.
5+ years of experience working directly with clients on architectural projects, including developing proposals and design documentation.
Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, consultants, and AHJs.
Strong technical skills in drafting, modeling, and detail development for construction documents.
Solid understanding of applicable building, fire, and energy codes.
Demonstrated ability to manage shifting project priorities and convey direction clearly to design teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional degree in Architecture, with licensure preferred but not required.
Architectural licensure preferred but not required.
Proficient in Revit
experience with BIM 360 cloud-based collaboration is preferred.
