About the role
- The Assistant Practice Manager serves as the on-site operational leader for the hospital, partnering closely with the Senior Practice Manager, who provides strategic oversight remotely.
- This role is responsible for ensuring the hospital operates efficiently each day, maintaining a positive client and team experience, and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in an autonomous environment, exercises sound judgment, and takes ownership of daily operations without requiring constant direction.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of accountability for client experience, patient care support, team engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Coach, mentor, and support team members through real-time feedback, training, and accountability conversations.
- Lead daily huddles, assign priorities, and ensure workflow remains efficient throughout the day.
- Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, workflow, and labor utilization to support business needs.
- Partner remotely with the Senior Practice Manager through regular communication, providing updates on hospital performance, staffing concerns, client issues, and operational needs.
- Build trust through consistency, professionalism, and accountability.
- While the Senior Practice Manager provides guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction, the Assistant Practice Manager is expected to confidently lead the hospital's daily operations and create a positive experience for both clients and team members.
