About the role
- You'll be expected to use modern AI tools and agent-based workflows to accelerate development, improve code quality, and unlock new product capabilities.
- This role is ideal for engineers who think in terms of outcomes, not tickets, and who see AI as a core part of how software gets built today.
- Ship high-quality, user-facing product experiences across frontend and backend systems
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end - define the problem, build the solution, deploy it, and iterate until it works
- Partner with Product and Design to break down ambiguous problems into simple, effective solutions - then build them
- Identify and implement AI capabilities in the product where they meaningfully improve the member experience
- Ship continuously, instrument what you build, and use customer behavior and feedback to drive the next iteration.
- Make system design decisions that balance speed, scalability, and maintainability - and own the tradeoffs
- Build and improve developer workflows through automation, internal tooling, and AI-assisted processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software in a product-focused environment
- Track record of owning features or systems end-to-end and delivering measurable user impact
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI agents and automation into development workflows and product features
Skills
- Leverage AI-powered development tools (code generation, copilots, agent workflows) to move faster and cut manual overhead
- A habit of evaluating new tools, frameworks, and approaches - and a willingness to recommend what works and kill what doesn't
- Strong fullstack engineering skills (e.g., Python, Django, React, or similar modern frameworks)
- Experience using AI developer tools (copilots, code agents, custom workflows) to ship faster - not just experiment with them
Compensation
- Team Connection: Quarterly virtual events and an annual in-person summit.
Benefits
- Commuter Support: $150 monthly reimbursement for transit expenses.
- Health & Wellness: $200 quarterly reimbursement to support your well-being.
