Responsibilities
- Collaborates with psychiatrists and Primary Care Providers (PCPs) to monitor participants' responses to psychotropic medications.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) required.
- Institute on Aging reserves the right to revise job descriptions or work hours as required
Nice to have
- Experience working in a team-based model of care highly preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Cantonese highly preferred.
Compensation
- Range: $ 130,000.00 - 148,000/annual

- The Behavioral Health Clinician works in conjunction with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) at On Lok PACE at the Institute on Aging (IOA) to identify and implement behavioral health services for PACE participants.
- Conducts comprehensive behavioral health assessments and treatment planning, including diagnosis, participant-directed goals, and treatment recommendations.
- Delivers and documents behavioral health interventions, including symptom management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention support.
- Collaborates with the Medical Social Worker (MSW), Primary Care Provider (PCP) and other IDT disciplines as needed to monitor the efficacy of behavioral health interventions.
- Documents all service delivery and encounters in the participant's electronic health record (EHR) according to program and department standards.
- Educates participants and their support system about available resources to support their needs, and offers psychosocial education to encourage self-management of needs.
