About the role
- Performing in a fast-paced environment, BCMA Commercial Financial Analyst will be supporting our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities.
- This role will involve close collaboration with Legend's business teams.
- The ideal candidate possess strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining sophisticated financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation.
- Partnering with business units and senior management to provide financial guidance, recommendations, and support for strategic initiatives.
- Support month-end close activities with the accounting team as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 3-5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
- FP&A or a business partnering experience in a matrix environment.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint & PowerBI
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex financial information into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of common business and financial drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis
- Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.

Nice to have
- a major in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Prior life sciences industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of SOX financial controls on Accounting and Reporting processes is preferred.
- experience with financial planning software a plus.
Compensation
- $68,045 - $89,308 USD
