About the role
- The Knife Filer position safely operate the filing, router, jointer, and straighten machines in the factory.
- Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to: - Assist the Process Technician in setting knives and change block in the cutters.
Requirements
- High School diploma or a GED certificate is required.
- Must be able to judge when knives are worn and/or damaged and should be discarded.
- Perform required preventative maintenance on the knife station machines, such as oiling, adjustments, etc.
- Required to work overtime as needed.
