About the role
- We're looking for an experienced logistics and supply chain professional to help manage our equipment inventory, delivery, installation, and deployment for our offices, data centers, and co-locations, and to track assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Additional responsibilities of this role will include:
Responsibilities
- Developing, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive logistics plans for equipment movement from warehouses to data centers
- Coordinating, with the support of the business stakeholders, the planning of installations and deployments of equipment across multiple sites
- Manage and oversee our warehousing providers
Nice to have
- Have 5+ years of experience in logistics and project management, preferably in IT or data center environments
- Have demonstrable experience improving, streamlining, and documenting processes, and operate with a high sense of urgency
- Have a proven track record of managing vendors and coordinating third-party services
- An experienced project manager and resource planner who understands warehouse operations and inventory management
- A strong communicator with great people and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
- Have experience in managing asset transfers and improving that process where possible (a plus but not required)
